Everything you agree to at registration — read it before you sign up.
Participation in 3v3 soccer involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury (sprains, strains, fractures, concussions), collision with other players, equipment, or field boundaries, cardiovascular stress, and exposure to communicable illness. By registering, the participant's parent/guardian acknowledges and voluntarily accepts these risks on the participant's behalf.
Parent/guardian represents that the participant is physically fit to participate in competitive youth soccer and carries their own health insurance coverage. The Mid Michigan Summer Championship Series and its organizers do not provide medical insurance for participants.
In consideration of being permitted to participate, the parent/guardian, on behalf of the participant, releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Mid Michigan Summer Championship Series, its organizers, staff, coaches, volunteers, referees, and the facility/field owners, from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence.
Parent/guardian authorizes event staff to arrange emergency medical treatment if needed and assumes financial responsibility for any resulting costs.
Participants, coaches, and spectators agree to follow event rules and staff/referee direction. Violations may result in removal from the event without refund.
Parent/guardian grants the Mid Michigan Summer Championship Series permission to photograph, film, and record the participant during event activities and to use that content on the website, social media, and promotional materials, without compensation. Families may opt out by emailing the event contact email with "Media Opt-Out" and the participant's name and team; incidental appearance in group or broadcast footage cannot be guaranteed to be excluded.
Registration reserves your spot. Payment is collected later. You are not charged when you register. Payments open on November 1, 2026. Once payments are open, we will email the team contact a secure payment link. Payment is due 14 days before the event date. Spots that are unpaid after that deadline may be released.
If the organizer cancels. Each event needs a minimum number of registered teams to run. If an event is cancelled because the minimum is not met, or for any facility or safety reason, no team is charged. Any fee already paid is refunded in full.
If your team withdraws. Paid registration fees are fully refundable up to 14 days before the event date. No refunds are issued for withdrawals within 14 days of the event. Teams that need to withdraw inside that window may request a credit toward a future Mid Michigan Summer Championship Series event instead, at the organizer's discretion.
